We are now searching for a

Group Tax Manager

to join our Group Finance and Tax team in Helsinki.

Group Control and Tax team’s role is to provide accounting and tax expertise that supports Patria Group’s needs and compliance requirements. We monitor and interpret local and international accounting and tax requirements (IFRS pronciples) and coordinate the Group's audit.

In this position, you are responsible for overseeing Patria Group's compliance with tax regulations, monitoring legislative changes and assessing their impact on Patria's operations. You advise on tax implications of business decisions and identify and mitigate tax risks. You are responsible for Patria's co-operation with external tax advisers.

Your duties include consulting Patria Group’s project organizations on tax-related issues as well as managing Patria Group’s tax reporting (Pillar 2, Country-by-Country (CbC) and Transfer Pricing).

What kind of person are we looking for? 

You are an analytical person with strong decision-making skills. You are used to working both independently and in collaboration with different stakeholders. We also hope that you have a positive attitude and passion for continuous improvement.

What we expect from you 

• Master's degree or similar academic qualifications with specialization in taxation, law or economics

• Proven work experience in international taxation, Eu tax law and OECD guidelines

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and proactively deliver results

• Fluent Finnish and English and excellent communication skills
